Have YOU heard?
January 30th is National Croissant Day? Now that’s something to get ROLLED up about! These buttery treats were invented in Austria, not France – I guess you could say they’re really RISING to the occasion with that plot twist! And here’s a FLAKY fact – it takes 72 hours to make a proper croissant!

We’re celebrating FDR’s birthday! Born on this day in 1882, he served the LONGEST presidency in U.S. history! I guess you could say he really DEALT with that record! He gave famous “fireside chats” on the radio – talk about getting FIRED up about communication!

Here’s something that’ll make you say “SNOW WAY” – did you know that no two zebras have the same stripe pattern? It’s like nature’s barcode system! I guess you could say they really EARNED their STRIPES! And here’s the best part – baby zebras can run within an hour of being born. Talk about hitting the ground RUNNING!

And have you heard about the Library of Congress? On this day in 1815, they bought Thomas Jefferson’s personal library of 6,487 books! I guess you could say they really BOOKED themselves a piece of history! The price was $23,950 – quite a NOVEL investment!

And here’s one last fact that’ll make you BUZZ – bees can recognize human faces! Scientists discovered they can remember and distinguish between different facial features. I guess you could say they’re really BEE-ing observant!

The #1 movie on January 30th 2009 was Taken.
