2022 eLearning VO Demo Video
“I help the hardest working folks work smarter!”
So, what exactly does that mean?
As a professional voice actor this is NOT my sales pitch, it is a REAL passion of mine and I have been doing this work for over 35 years – since 2012 running my own VO business.
While I have done A LOT of different voice over work from commercial and promo and explainer, whiteboard and YouTube videos and game characters and audiobooks and Alexa apps and phone messages and even on-camera gigs, for me elearning and educational content is where I find the most satisfaction and reward. This is where I am focusing A LOT of my energy in 2022 reaching out and working with folks who put an emphasis on high quality training and education for their students, employees and contractors.
The last 9 years I’ve been narrating high quality content for great companies like ExxonMobil, MillerCoors, US Foods, Energy Worldnet, PG&E, Corna-Kokosing and others in the energy, oil and gas industry as well as construction, law enforcement, hospitality and tech fields. I consider it an honor when I have the opportunity to invest into the lives of hard working women and men, contributing to their overall success.
Rates for my voice over services are reasonable and straightforward and delivery is usually same day or next for quick turnarounds. And I’m always happy to send a free custom audition read for your next project.

The importance of e-learning voice over in your employees’ training
As your company’s workforce grows, your new employees are going to need training. Rather than do in-person training sessions, which take time and resources away from your senior personnel, you can create standardized, comprehensive, and engaging eLearning modules. These online teaching tools give you the opportunity to train any new employee immediately upon hiring them. Furthermore, with online eLearning, you can quickly and efficiently keep your workforce up to date on any changes to company policies or procedures.
eLearning voice over (which is sometimes written as eLearning voice over) is one of the most important aspects of your online training instruction. Effective eLearning voice over will guide your trainees through the content, maintain their attention for the entire program, clearly deliver your message, and facilitate a final performance assessment if desired. The voice over will set the pace at which the information is delivered, as well as the tone. Together, these aspects will define the eLearning experience for your trainee, and the ease with which the content is understood.
What makes for successful eLearning voice over?
As a professional voice actor with over three decades of experience, I have the necessary skills and abilities to deliver the eLearning voice work that you’re looking for. I’ve produced thousands of hours of eLearning content for corporate, legal, medical, employee safety, technical training, science and children’s educational lessons. As a result, I know what’s important for creating successful eLearning voice over, and I know how to make it happen!
There are three critical aspects of eLearning voice over that I’ll highlight here:
- The tone of the voice over. This is the mood or feeling that’ll define the entire eLearning experience for your employees. The overall tone should be positive and encouraging, in order to instill confidence in your trainees and maximize their chances of learning the material. The voice over should be warm, conversational, and friendly, and remain consistent without being monotone. Striking the right tone will make the content feel approachable, and make the learning experience fun and enjoyable.
- The energy level. While the level of energy in the voice is often related to the tone, in that a more upbeat sounding voice is usually more dynamic and therefore carries more energy, the energy level and tone of the voice are not equivalent. Energy in this case refers to both the volume of the voice and the emphasis placed on certain words, which signal to your listeners which information is most important and when to pay special attention.
- The pace of the voice over. eLearning modules are often interactive, meaning that your employee must click through the different slides or pages in order to advance through the content. The pace of the voice over will determine how quickly they move through the material, and in general, a slower pace will facilitate better understanding of the information. The timing of the voice over delivery should take this into account while still sounding natural.
If done the right way, each of these aspects will come together to give your employees a seamless eLearning experience and have them walking away better informed and feeling empowered.

Having produced thousands of hours of eLearning material and received international recognition for my work, I’m ready to make your eLearning project the best that it can be. I know how to strike a friendly yet authoritative tone in order to grab my listeners’ attention and help them learn something new.
